Any downfall to building a box and putting it under the engine hatch? I dont want to take up any storage space but I have a lot of room in the enging hatch. Not looking for anything crazy so I"m just going to put one 12". Anybody have and opinion on a good hard hitting 12 and how much power it would it would need. Thanks.

Is there any way for the sound to escape when the hatch is down? I just put a single 12" in my Uncles Glastron, but there are big holes on each side of the rear seat to let the sound through. It still sounds louder when the hatch is up though. You could test one before you mount it to see if it works for you.
    Good luck.

It's a little different than a car. It will make a difference with the hatch down.
