Engine ok, Drive blown!!!

Well good news / bad news. Engine is fine. Verified that yesterday in our engine shop. Bad news is the drive gears are shot, past the engine drive shaft, at the top of the drive. You can see where the gears came apart and there is metal and oil all over. XR drive with only 188 hours on it. No idea how it happened. Was running along just fine when it happened. Looks like about $4K in damage. Hope to be back up next week.

Glad it wasn't the engine Rob, I think I'm up to 5 times now on broken Bravo's. This is my second one and I've taken out the forward gear twice.
Was great to see you last Saturday, wish I could have run with you for a while. We we're going over the Poker Run course and getting GPS locations for stations and safety boats. It's getting close!!

Should have the new drive in and be back and running by next week. I do plan on doing the poker run with you guys as well. And that drive is an XR drive. First question they asked was if I had modified the engine. (not yet!)
But I should be back and running in short order. Could have been worse.
