If they are stock 454's id just run 91 oct.
Ok guys, I got my boat over the winter and I am going to take it out of storage tomorrow. It has twin 454's 330 HP. What percentage octane do you recommend? The motors are 1990's. Boat is a 1990 IMP 310 Eleganza.

Exactly...
No need to pay the big bucks unless you are detonating.
Unless you are unlike the typical western NY breed......Be sure you do not have detonation. Listen to you engine and have it tuned regularly. As well, use a decent marina for your gas. I have been to many where the gas is crap.....But if you are taking that big momma I saw from another thread (I give you credit for dating such a big woman, to each their own) you will definately need the higher octane to pull that around.
Yeah, the 330 HP is a low-perf motor, you should be able to run 87 all the time. Put the extra money into more important things like beer.

Yeah now the beer thing is important, don't be buying no cheap beer.
