No hookups on IPODS. They are sold almost at cost....
You can try a UC bookstore.. My wife works at UCSD med ctr and got mine at the bookstore for about 30.00 less than retail... That 30less was less than what my company buys them for... Apple and schools have good programs...
risky if you use ebay, go new, you know what you're getting.
its the best 400.00 I ever spent on sound stuff.
Just get the iPod shuffle for $99.00........ :squiggle:
Ok, ok.................Just wanted it for the boat so I don't have to carry CD's.
The flexibility the iPod gives, makes it the best thing I have ever bought for my boat.

So Phebus, is there a special way that needs to be hooked to the headset or is it sometime thats fairly easy?
I have a question for you ipod users.
My niece has a cheeper Ipod. When hooked up to the car stereo it sounds like shit. The quality sucks.
Is it because it's not a good one? anybody?

It depends on your head unit. Roz hooked me up. Definately hard wire it in, the FM modulator sounds terrible.
