New Tahiti Jet Boats?

I have a buddy that claims he saw a TAHITI jet boat at a recent boat show. He is interested in purchasing one, but damn it if he didn't get any info at the show. Does anybody have any info on these? We look all over the web, but we can't find a thing!

I saw an ad in the Boat Trader for Tahiti Boats. They had a 21' for 25k, didn't mention anything about power.

i saw this smae ad it was a couple of weeks ago i beleive they are in the orange county some were!

A couple of years ago Tracy Marine in California had a couple of brand new 16 ft Tahiti's that they called a Sweet Sixteen. It was the same 16 ft boat that Tahiti sold in the 70's mostly with outboards. These had 130hp sterndrives. It was missing the cool Tahiti emblem with the tiki mask. Instead the name was just a stick on.
