Or even picking up the rocks on both sides of the channel. But you know that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
This is totally off the subject but with all the money boaters bring into the Havasu economy every weekend for 10 months a year it seems they can remove some rocks and do some sand fill.

While I know it's not the channel, it was explained to me that when the Nautical went through their recent expansion, they trucked in something like 400 truckloads of sand for the beach area in front of the new timeshares.
