Don't set your sights too high on 35's. 32's and 37's are out there but very few guys had 35's. They were odd ball.

I have 18s right now and i am spinning the motor a little to high. :idea:
22,25,29,32,37,40. That's how they go. And roughly figure 400 rpm drop per gear step up. Ballpark.

I have a set of 12 degree 29's (i think thats what they are)
I have a 21' Horizon it has a 455 olds 60 over puts out 550hp.
All parts from Mondello.
It has 18* gears right now. The prop is a 12.25X15 2 blade.
The rpms are 5500 at 68mph.gps
I would like two drop the rpms alittle i don't like to spin it that hard . :jawdrop:
your next choice is 22%. Your boat will be a lasy dog with those in there. Looks like you are about right for the 455 you have.
