This thing is really startin` to blow off the lake. Walked on the levee about 7:00pm. Looks like 8-10 ft swells. Hope everyone outsde of the levees makes it. This bitch is pushin` a whole hell of alot of water.

my dad's out there on an oil rig...until last thursday at least. they just flew him in to wait out the storm. hopefully this whole thing clears up pretty quick. try and stay dry hoss!

We're drying out in Kenner also, it was a couple of inches from comming into the house, but no damage. Just 9 hrs without electricity, now we wait for Lily. Airline is still closed at the parish line, so it's bumper to bumper on River Road to get to and from work.
