Thread: Air desity/ carb jetting

    Okay. Let me get this straight. Colder air, denser charge, richen jets.
    Ran my boat out the other morning, was 28 degrees. Ran real good.
    So I should drop my jet size a notch to make it run that way when its 70?

    one jet size is a start. You may have to do a little more than that but maybe not.

    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! 28 degrees? Ive been in high 40's to low 50's in a boat and I thought I was gonna die. Atleast the beer stays cold huh? Oh ya, morning time, make that Bloody Mary,s http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

    It will usually require at least 2 jet sizes to notice any change. Take note some jets have the same size orfice and just the entry angle are different.
