Personally, I like the "normal" height. Its really just a question of which one you prefer as long as it is higher than the top of transom. No magic or rocket science to worry about!
I have a 19' Hallett and want to put a bellhousing mount ski tow on it. I have seen two, a "normal" height and a "tall" one. Which one should I use on my Hallett.

Do you have in transom or over transom exhaust. that would tell me which to use as not to melt the rope. if you are a skier put a float about 5 ft. down the rope so you dont suck it up the pump. have fun this summer and be safe!!! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/cool.gif
