Thats impressive! Mine is the LLY motor and it is getting considerably less mileage. (Maybe 10mpg towing)
What is the difference between the tow motors. On one of my colleagues claims that he gets 19 empty and 15 towing a 21ft daycruiser of some sort. Why the big difference in mileage?

Besides horsepower/torque ratings, I'm not sure what the differences are. I also hear claims of the previous generation motor getting better fuel mileage, but who cares if you get more POWER!!!!!!!!!

I really get un-nerved when people start crying about mileage on a tow rig.
I didn't buy my dually for the mileage. It could get 2 for all I care. As long as it pulls what I want it to pull, looks how I want it to look, and the A/C works, WHO CARES!!!!!
