depends where you plan to be on the lake...
Echo Bay and Temple Bar both have rooms up from the marinas.
Otherwise you're talking Henderson, Boulder City, LV, Lake LV resort??
Any suggestions on where to stay? I don't need anything real nice. just a place for a couple guys to crash...

It all depends on how close to the lake you want to stay. The Light house inn, Boulder City is decent and is real close (2mi) to the lake. If you want to be closer to Vegas the Fiesta in Henderson is good as well. Whatever you do stay away from the Hacienda its a real shit hole. Lighthouse runs about $80/night and has plenty of boat parking. Carefull launching as the water is low.
Check out the Hacienda hotel casino pretty cool little place and real close to the lake
The Hacienda is alot better now . They fired the general manager & hired the one that ran it when it was the Gold Strike . That was when you couldn't find a seat at the tables to play , the craps table would be 6-8 pople deep . Man those were the days .
The Hacienda is a dump....The casino is ok but the rooms are BAD!! The carpet was so dirty it made your feet black, and best of all they gave us a room someone else was sleeping in. Opened the door and some peep was asleep...LOL...the whole place was a bad experience. The Lighthouse has no Casino but its mostly boaters who stay there.
Temple Bar is a nice place to stay.
Isn't there a Gold Strike there???? Its been a LONG time since I've been there!
I am thinking its going to be the Lighthouse
How is launching around there? Is it possible to get a slip or is it like everywhere else????
it BURNED DOWN
Really? WTF? I used to go there when I was a kid!
