Jet Collar Adjustment

I'm putting the last of the boat together and I'm not sure on the proper adjustment for the collar near the driveshaft on a Berkley JG pump

What collar? I don't know what you're talking about. Budlight

I'm not sure what it's called, but the part nearest the u-joints and has two bolts on either side that swing into place and tighten down. I don't have a pump schematic or i could be more accurate.

some one told me it should drip about one drop of water per 5 seconds at idle. never really checked it out myself.

THis I got from Jack McClure at MPD. IF it is the new teflon packing then it should drip a little. Needs water to lubricate. A drip every 5 to 10 sounds good. if is NOT dripping then that is bad.
