Thread: Shifting A Casale????

    Are these boxes made to be shifted in gear when the motor is running? I never do but always wondered if its ok????

    do you have a 2 dog in and out or a 3 dog in and out whirlaway?

    if you plan on racing you have to shift it into gear when its running!I,ve done it but it banged pretty hard, freaked me out!!!I think air is the only way to shift it fast enough!!I tried with my hand to do it really fast, :notam: no way,it bangs too hard for me!!but you can if you have the right stuff in your box,beaver fab put a w/w in my box and said I can do it but I still don,t like to!!

    You need a 3 dog coupler. 2 dogs will shift but are extrmemly hard to do while running, it tears up equipment faster and its not consistant. Sometimes your hand will bounce off when trying to put it in gear with a 2 dog.

    I have a two Dog style. I will stick with the way I do it now...
