Thread: Engine Running Too Cold Need Thermostat!

    cant_run
    I cannot get my water temp to go past 110
    I think my engine is running too cold.
    my oil temp does not even get close to the 150
    I think I'm not running a thermostat I'm going to check it tonight
    what temp. of thermostat do you guys recommend.

    somewhere in 1 of the forums...this subject is covered...i personally dont think u need 1 or use a thermo...i control my water temps by turning the spigot on the pump either more open (cooler) or more closed (hotter)...i use head water temp gages & run around 150-160* depending on the lake/river water temp...this is what my mtr likes the best...just my .02 cents
