Thank you all, for the kind gestures ... He is an awesome little guy, Jen and I are thrilled!!
I guess now is as good of a time as any to make a boat related announcement..... as you know I have a 32' DCB on order that was expected to be powered my TCM800 or TCM900 efi's .... I have decided to make move into the Viper powered scenario for a few reasons...
#1 most importantly and 90% of my decision is...I do not need to be going 140mph+ in a boat.... I have a lovely wife and 3 kids and I think there is a big difference between 115-120mph and 135-145mph...I'm making a decision to be resonable about the way I look at performance boating.
#2 Vipers have proven to be pretty reliable, and I like that idea...plus they are a much better mate with Bravos
#3 Insurance and gas.... maybe not a huge difference but just the same it wont hurt.
#4 Vipers are closed cooling and I want to take this bad boy to Catalina on occasion.... I am also opting for Dave's new Carbon Fiber/Kevlar lay up to stiffen her up for that kind of water,,, I know she is still a Lake boat but on the few occasions I take her offshore I would like he to be as stout as possible.
I may not be the fastest guy on the lake anymore, but I look forward to the good times on the beach with you guys... thats where the best memories come from anyways! :wink:
