Thanks Ty, for the awesome workmanship on my Holley 660's.
Look at these pictures, everyone. First, pay special attention to the CRAP that I sent Hotcrusader76/what little he had to work with;

These aren't carbs; their scrapmetal! Carburetor cores at best. Check out the rust and corrosion(above), and look at the damage at the float bowl vent tubes as shown below:

Now, look at what I got back upon completion:

Every single piece of hardware/fastener is replaced with new pieces. Look at the free-flowing high speed circuit discharge nozzles (compare to stock one's above):

And look at the detail work in other areas, such as the machined-down 850 cfm throttle shafts; tell me these babies aren't gonna flow!

and beautiful billet metering blocks that give me adjustability on the secondary side of the 660's that isn't possible on a standard 660 carb:

There's more that I discover each time I take another close look at them.
I originally got these off eBay, looking for some 660's to rebuild myself. What I received was so trashed, they were beyond anything that I could would care to straighten out--I ain't a carb specialist. Nor could I have taken them to the level that they are now. In fact, I was so amazed...that well...I BLEW MY WAD ALL OVER THEM:

LO OK... I'm not sure he planned for that. You may need to adjust metering or something. Sounds like you may be running a tad rich!
Ummm, ok YIKES!!?? Crusader doesn't even get a response like that from me.....guess I see now why he's in this business. eek!

Well the last time aparentlly one of the CHEAP rubber gaskets for the tube between the primary and secondarie bowls must not of seated proberlly.I gave them a quick look and seemed to be in thier normal position.I guess I did not look close enough.So I fired it up
You guessed it Correct.Fuel pissed out everywhere.. Fire .I am not happy.The Engine cover was open I shut it right down ran to the garage and was able to put it out on the 3rd bucket of water.

Actually--in all seriousness--I should have mentioned in my original post that throughout my careful, thorough evaluation of prospective carb specialists within my budget, Hotcrusader76 showed the most interest in my motor project as well as the greatest general interest in reconfiguring carburetors for a motor-specific application. Additionally, his noted experience in marine applications of carburetion was not to be overlooked. Finally, before I even settled on this rebuilder and throughout the rebuilding process and even after the deal was completed and I received the carbs, my ongoing questions about the workmanship was always happily answered.
And soooo, to sum it all up, Hotcrusader76 got it in the end--wait! Strike that! What I mean to say is that Hotcrusader76 rose to the occasion--wait! Strike that too! What I'm trying to say is....oh forget it...you all know what I mean.
