Just bought it, 1992 monterey by seabring i think. It has a 305 (yuk) and a yamaha outdrive. Is this a decent first boat? Any ideas on the yamaha outdrive? And can i increase the horsepower, it says max horse power is 260. Thanks for any info.
I'm sure that a google search will yield aftermarket parts to increase HP on the Monterey. Keep in mind that many people on these boards have customs, so they're less likely to respond to these kind of boats. But welcome! Enjoy the boat, sounds like a great first boat!
