I believe it was 245 mph and not a speed record. They ran et's of 4.76, 4.77 and 4.78 and got the et record.

I watched Eddie Hill go 247 about 20 years ago.......... seems the 230+ range
is pretty dang hard to get past.......... with any reliability or repeatability.
