Anyone running one of Brodix's alum. blocks? Any idea what they are asking for a tall deck BBC with std. cam location?
I also read on Dart's message board that they will have an all alum. big M out soon, any info on that?

Hey cs, if you are thinking of running an aluminum block do yourself a favor and check out the Donovan stuff. Heck, you can even get an anodized "marine" one if you want it. They make very nice stuff and are great to work with.

Donovans block is a way better piece we've run them all in the 10 inch tire stuff we build and the donovan and Brodix blocks are the best there is it's worth the money hands down . I am currently building two twin turbo small cubic inch big blocks and doing it with Donovans for some reason I can't post jpg pics on this site otherwise I'd post some pics. Good luck in your decision Laz Mesa.

I've been real happy with the Arias century block.
I feel the Y block is the strongest design. I'm on the 6th season on mine now.
    I went with a 10.7" deck ht.

I think the weight savings is about 150 # from cast iron.
