Too thick. That's three separate speaker rings on different planes. You have to see it to understand the setup. The grill cloth will give me the basic shape so that I can glass on top. I would have lost a lot of detail with fleece.
Not too thick or lost detail if you would have accounted for it when you mounted the rings together
The only thing about using grill cloth is that you end up with much more finish work on the outside of the panel. Fleece would have been pretty much finish work on top with structural support added to the back of the panel...

Next time use fleece or sweat shirt material. Much easier to work with than grill cloth.
I would have used fleece also...but Im not a big fan of all the finish work required with using grill cloth. :idea:
