Yes, go bigger if you plan on running on Lake Pacific because he will want to upgrade sooner than he thinks.
Oh and another thing, economical and boating are two words that do not go well together :rollside:

Nice looking boat Chestah. I own a DANA 27 and love how it rides. I havent had it long though.
Right back at ya - I've always loved the low profile (no pun intended) of the Dana 27.

I could not agree more with this. Also in the big blue I like twins just in case. The 29 Chester Cheetah has listed is as nice a riding 29 you will find. I am a little biased as we own one. Also with the single is about as economical as boating gets. There will be more bigger boats with twins for sale as gas prices climb IMHO.
Thanks for the kind words PShift - We definately need to hook up on the water one of these days to compare rides since we're pretty much the only 2 in CA that I know of. Preferably somewhere far from Lost Isle this time... :rollside:
I got one for you. I like the way this hull handles the chop. Great boat for out there.

boat looks great whys it for sale?
How much $$ is he looking to spend? I would suggest getting the biggest, newest boat in his price range with stock power.
