Ok so I was looking at amazon for a new sledge hammer9 some one gave me a gift card) and I found this:

And no thats not a mispirnt. WTF a hammer for just under $900.... they must be smoking more crack then the ppl on ebay that says thier boat does a 100.
Really was the deal with these things?

I know a Blacksmith back in NC that spends big $$$ on Hammers. I have actually used an $1800 hammer (hand tool) while doing metal work on my race truck. They actually are real nice to use. Night and day different from your $15 Home Depot mini sledge.

Mike I thought it was just a hammer whaen I grabbed it. I asked why it felt the way it did, so he said here is a reg hammer (Lowes), swing that. Then the explanations came in. I like the Big Blue Numatic hammer less work.
