Shadow- Who are you using at that rate??? My lowest quote has been mid 8's.
UltraJay- I would check with progerssive. They were my lowest, however the underwritter said that they dont insure cats, and if I were to get into an accident they wouldnt cover it. Either that or they would eventually find out and cancel me.

There was a thread over on either OSO or Speedwake about cat insurance. Markel seemed to be the only company insuring cats. Just repeating what I read.

State Farm out of Havasu. That's where the boat stays and yes that matters. We pay 846.00 for a 2006 27ft Laveycraft Sabre Cat 496 HO. They only insure up to 100,000. Limits 300,000/100,000 with uninsured boater, tow included and 5K medical payments. Hope this helps. PM for agents name and number. With a current boat class cert. you drop about 86.00 off the quote.
