I am going to pull the heads for the first time to do a valve job. I used ARP's and they are in Edelbrock RPM Performer heads (alum). Do I need to replace these head bolts? I have a # 7 cyl. down 25%. All of the others checked good on the leak down I did on a warm motor. The heads had a full port and polished by Chapion Marine in FL. The heads had 236 hours. The hyd. rollers have 361 hours.
With just pulling the heads should I replace anything else while I have the heads off? The cam is a Crane 1391741 Hyd roller with about 625 lift. I do a lot of cruising in the 2500 to 3000 range and WOT is just in short spurts. Change oil every 25 hours.
    Thanks for any help, Mike

Hey Mike, try asking this in the gear head section.I personally would change the head bolts, they probably will be ok but I always go alittle overbored on things like that. This way I dont worry about it in the back of my mind!!!
