I have run 5 different blower motors ranging from 454 to 605 w/10-20 pounds of boost. I locked everyone of them out.I think the main reason is it eliminates a lot of fluctuationin the timing. Ever watch a timing light bounce around, I feel most of that is from advance mechanisms, not all of it, but most. Steve

I just bought a blower shop blower , the 250 and it is matched with a demon 1150cfm worked by bg . It ia going on a 502 they sell it matched . i think you need more carb then 950. this is just what i have been hearing from the experts.

i noticed that most of you run just 1 carb on your blowers.i wondered why?
i always thaught the least resistance the better for drawing in air and to use 2 carbs.i use 2 stock 850 holleys with no PV'sbut for race only.TBS 8-71 setup for race gas.
    thanks!

The power valve block off is a good mod to carb and very easy to do, The p/v lets more fuel into motor when you hammer down, w/blower there is never really a drop in vacum to allow p/v to open and give extra fuel, my blower car has 2 650 dps and always ran hot. Put block-off and went up 12 sizes on mains and car does not overheat in 95 degree heat.A boat is always under constant load, this does not vacum build under throttle plates=no power valve. Booster reference mods let power valve get vacum from under blower. pm me if you want more info. BIG JOE 800HP FROM SMALL BLOCK CHEVY STREET CAR

They sell power valve block off plates? On a 750 demon carb is there primary and secondary jets? Im guessing the ones to change would be the secondary?
