Bob just take the tools and the starter to the lake with ya. Then have Jeff tow you to the lagoon and you guys can drink a boat soda and install it there.

I put a trim indicator on my hydraulic Place diverter. Works fine. I have a screwed up hand. I can work buttons and switches, but not a manual diverter.....I tried a couple.

I had a manual shifter. It was placed right in front of the drivers seat on the stringer. Hit 1 too many rollers 1 day and slid right into it. Ordered a Hydro that week. I can feel the sweet spot when I hit the switch. No problems. Its not as instant as the shifter. Now that I have the pump in a place that is stable and the lines are not near the Bassett's headers I love it.
Have your pops get the deal to upgrade the diode. I think Rex marine sells them. I'm sure TP will hook him up right. It wouldn't hurt to ask about the Rex deal. When that diode goes bad your usually on the lake.
Bergeron engineering here in mesa has a deal that eliminates the diode
