If any of you have been following my post.............I raised my jack plate to 1 and a half inches under pad I put a 24 pitch 3 blade on this weekend and now i think i have alot of slip. before i could only pull 6200 rpm at 60 mph with a 19 pitch now with my 24 i can use the pedel only and run it to 5000 rpm and a bump on the trim sends the tach to the moon (7500) before i noticed and trimed back down.
How can i get rid or prop slip? I was at 61 mph at 7500 rpm and let off for fear of a nuke in my merc.
how hard can i spin my 89 merc 200 xri?
are you guys tired of my post yet? LoL i hope not cause i am learning.
Hey TD You wana come to st louis? help me setup the boat lol

I wouldn't be spinning it 7500 very much or for long periods of time. What are you using to check your speed? I'd have to look at a manual but I think operating range is somewhere between 5500-5800. I'll check tomorrow.
