I do and it works otherwise I wouldn't have posted it.
it does work great...i tack welded a socket on the end, so the tip doesnt slip out of the pump rod

The fuel system is definitely FUBAR. The mechanical (Carter I think) pump is shot. And the Holley spreadbore double pumper has seen better days.
I'm debating the fuel pump issues, mechanical vs electric
i highly recommend the Edelbrock Mechanical pump 110gph...works great...i would also go to a Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap manifold & a Holley 750 dp sq bore mech sec (reg) or an Edelbrock 750...they both work great...just my .02 cents

C.T.
calm down, wasnt saying it wouldnt work, just saying go buy the right tool for the job, 10-20 bucks it worth it to me, hell i have a hard enough time keeping a flat head screw driver on a screw when it's on a drill let alone with the preasure of the pump on it.. Plus i'd rather not break off or chip the tip and then have metal in my oil
