I just got off the phone with the Crystal Inn. I changed my reservation so I would get the $69. group rate. The girl on the phone laughed and ask me what "Beast Of The East" was. I gave her a brief description of a bunch of boaters, frustated by the Winter, getting together to plan this years activities and then I had her look at the initials "BOTE". I could tell that she got a kick out of it. I think she is looking forward to Feb 11, 06 to see if we can live up to the name.
I had faith that you would remember the name of the bar.
The Nauti-Goose Saloon is a famous place in Northeast, MD and they advertise "Boaters Welcome". What more can you ask for?
