ok here's a few i live by
beers must be iced before launching boat
\no sunflower seeds in the boat :yuk:
and the sausage limit must be less than half the total amount of non sausage carriers on the vessel

I took the Coast Guards Safe Boat and Piloting Course years ago. It was a 14week class. One class a week going over 14 chapters. I've been piloting boats since I was a kid and I had nothing on this class to say but thumbs up. I learned things I didn't know and some I did but the best thing about the class whas they had two Reserves Instructors that basically were there every time but for each chapter they brought in a Coast Guard that specialized in whatever the chapter was so you never just got one biast opinion throughout the course. I recommend it to anyone that spends time on fresh or salt water. :idea: Oh yea, just rememberd that it only cost me for the books. Don't know if that is still true or not.
