I have 2 Mercury Racing 2.5 offshore edition motors, I would like to sell. They will be sold as a pair. They are 20" shaft motors with a Mercury Clever attached. I will sell the motors only but would prefer to sell with the props that are both in excellent condition.
The motors are still attached to my boat and I can run them for the time being until my new motors come in. Then I will have them in the Mercury crates for shipping.
The motors have some upgrades, and are way above average condition for their age. The motors were bought in NY from Ocean Outboard and I am the third owner of this boat. The previous owner put less than 10 hours on the boat. The boat has only been used in FRESHWATER. The boat itself shows only 50 hours of use, but I believe that the motors have more use than that.
Compression is high and I have many spare parts to go with the motors.
The reeds have been changed and I believe the motors have an aftermarket throttle body, I believe the HP to be in the 280+++ range. ( Originally 260)
Both alt/stater and starter have just been replaced. Light hoods , tiebar etc...

i must not have asked enough, but it was fair for me and him.
