Big ass Sanger

Last week I found a 68 Sanger with a 500 hp Big block Ford. Title says 18 ft, but looked bigger than my 69 bubbledeck. I put a tape measure on it and its 20 ft 6 inches long and 8 inches wider than my 69 18 foot bubble deck. I baught the thing anyway because it ran so good, was this a ski only boat? Was it a circle boat? The hull is also thicker than the 18 footer, and the height at the transom is taller at 14 inches. What do you guys think?

Is it a semi-V bottom? Sounds like the size of a GN/Ski racing boat....
But, did Sanger ever build one??
