1959 Trojan runabout done.

End of an era for the family.
We've restored this boat 3 times since about 1972.
Trojan came out with this boat in 1959. Yes a SKI boat.
It's been alot of time and work to keep it operating for all those years.
It was powered by a 1959 312 Ford Interceptor Thunderbird motor.
That I have!
After the wood has pretty much totally rotted it was time for it to go.

By the way, it didn't have tail lights. That was for disposal.

I don't know. Winter is coming up rapidly. A couple of sheets of Mahogony plywood and alot of diciplin could get the ol' girl pulling a skiier again. How could you let a family classic go like that? But, you have to do something about the tail lights. Those look like they could rip an arm off if given the chance.
