je pistons -28
went to brc guide 4.60bore 5.00stroke 95cchead -.100deck -28ccdish .100 head gasket= 8.67 would this be the right way to go
well your calcs are correct, I just don't like that much squesh. .100 in the hole plus .100 head gasket is quit a bit, but with 95cc chambers you don't have much choice. But it will definitly be detination(sp) prone, just be carefull with timing.

The "right" way to go would be order custom pistons that would give you the ratio you want. That way you can order pistons that are cut to match the valve angle of the big chiefs, and get something close to a .040" quench provided with an off the shelf head gasket, and a zero decked piston.
that would be the right way

This is the road I took. Ross made the chief pistons. Mine are actualy
.010 in the hole. I ran a .040 cometic. CC the heads gave 90 to 92 cc,s.
Final comp was close to 8.5. This has worked well under the 10lbs intercooled
boost.
