My wife and I are new to the boating lifestyle and absolutley love everything about it so far.The problem I have is the motor decided to go south and eat one of my intake valves also resulting in a chunked cam and broken lifter.I wanted to know the average price for a complete rebuild.I do not have anything done to it,it is a pretty much stock motor.
How much do you want to build it up?
I really want to leave it pretty much stock.
There are lots of variables, but offhand a quick answer.................$1800. to $2500. For a mild, reliable rebuild.
