Thread: Carberated Twin Cam Softail

My bike has been sitting for longer than I care to think about. I drained the old gas, changed the battery and it fired right up. It idles fine with the choke on but cuts out and stalls when I turn off the choke. What can I do to clean out the carberator without taking it apart.
    Any suggestions?

You're gonna have to do what you don't wanna do. Sounds likes its all gummy'd up inside. New gas sucks.

Spary some carb cleaner through there, that should work. It did on my old gas golf cart at least.

I was hoping to not have to take it apart so I'll try the other methods first. After being on it yesterday for a little while I forgot how much fun it is.
