.4 means absolutely nothing. Differences in water conditions, air temp, humidity, and many other things could explain that little of a difference. All those things can change in a very short period of time.

yeah, it was nothing of a gain. But back to the "Is this Trash" thread where everyone was saying that the loader is going to help me. I took the old skool one out and didn't lose speed...so...look at it as you will but EVERY boat is different and wants different things.
Hope to get out again soon after I fix the coil issue and slap a hitch on the new whip...
And as HotRod said, it's a worn out 327 and maybe pushing 160 hp on a good day. low 50's is cool with me...
I would've been the odd ball and said I doubt just any loader would do your boat any good. There's also the thought that a boat with stock power doing 55 to 60 mph doesn't need a loader either.
