fock - I have some rubbers that will work -- right in my wallet buhahahahaha
what about cutting the hole about 1/16th over and using a uniseal? I know from exp in the custom aquaruim biz that they take vibration really well with out cuasing a leak( plus they are the best way I know of to seal a pipe to the side of another pipe of diffrent materials), They might work for this app.
uniseal (http://www.uniseal.co.nz/index.html)

I have an old bicycle inner tube that I can tie wrap behind the guage also. That would work for what I want to do.
You can always use one of these.
