I am going to keep it here in L.A. for the winter, so I can use it in the ocean, make some Catalina and Channel Island runs. I will bring it to Havasu for the summer. I am having way too much fun with it.

    Hey Dave,
Ever interested in running the Catalina Ski Race? We've been doing it the last 8 years. Unfortunately my partner is selling his 38. We have a couple guys that come every year from AUS to race. If you have any interest I'll hook you up as it looks like our boat will be sold before July. We did it last year in an hour 16 I think. We had 500's with no issues...
Just a thought. Hate to see these guys lose a ride.

    HI Dan,
I heard that it was cold and windy in Havasu over New Years. We were going to come up, but I deceided that we would have better boating weather here in L.A. It was nice on Saturday, but the wind kept us on the land Sunday and Monday.
    Take care,
    Dave
right on--when my Spectre is fixed I'll bring it out there so we can run Lake Pacific...Catalina it is
Last one to the island is buying breakfast

That sounds like fun, but after what it is costing at my friendly Mercruiser dealer to get everything in shape I don't think I am willing to run it that hard.
