What head?

Just curious, if you are going through the trouble to build something that would utilize a 4.625 bore why on earth would you waste your time looking for those piston on ***boat? Save the trouble and buy them new.
Sorry, just checked mine and they are a 4.630. I would not try to take a block that far over for a boat. Going with new stuff might be a safer way to go for something that big.

Paul,
4.630 would work, my 9.8 deck Merlin II block has damaged bores at 4.600, but will clean up with a .025 or more bore. Im using Pro topline heads, but it is a pump gas deal and looking for a flat top or small dome, or a dome with enough meat to mill down to a small dome. prefer something with 1.270 compression height, but might could work with others.
I just realized the pistons I have were for a 4.375 stroke with a 400 long rod. They are also for a prostock head. Most people running that bore are using a big chief or something so I figured you might be able to make them work. There is no way they would work on a standard head though. Sorry.
