Just wanted to know if anyone had an idea on how shallow a 20'-22' jet boat could run without damage.

When you hear rocks in the jet , its too shallow.

If the boat stops on a sandbar, it was too shallow.
Okay, for real. Where I boat, the lower river, it is all sand, no rocks.
I've actually passed over 12 inch deep spots. Do not let off though. As soon as you drop off plane you will be stuck.
My block does get full of sand, but I think that is unavoidable in shallow river use.

depends on the boat, size, etc.
Like said above the sound of rocks is not a good thing:sqeyes:

depends on the boat, size, etc.
. . . and how fast you are going, as Jbone alluded to.
