You mean the kind they used to chain to the frames of the original Z28's???
I'm sure there are some Camero guys that would give a premium for that. Might be a good idea to check out some chevy forums. See how much intrest you get.
Anybody have an idea what a 302 short block would be worth. I was bought from chvrolet about 30 yrs ago and cant have over 1500 miles on

Yes that's the one. A good friend of mine bought it from Chevrolet and put it in his 34 Chevy coupe. He was only 17 and decided to sell the car. He had found a Chevelle he wanted. His Dad bought the 34 from him. Where it sat in the garage for 30 yrs. It was started and driven 3-4 times a year. Now that my friends kids are done with college and on there own he wanted to get him another "hot-rod". His Dad gave him the 34 back for his 47th birthday.
I still have a 302 for sale, The best of everything. It is apart for the buyers inspection. It has less than 30 laps. I have the dyno sheets that show 450 hp corrected. The block is an origonal Z28. I am asking 5K carb to pan.

Can you get a casting # off the block? May be interested...
The number is 3970010. It has a L.A. Kriptonite billet Crank, 6 in Carillo rods, Isky roller rockers and girdles, Cosworth pistons, huge Iron heads and a Victor jr. port matched. You have a choice of carbs. There is an extra top end cam new in the box. It comes dry sumped, Avaid pump and pan. If you want a stock pan and pump that's easy enough. The crank and Clevite bearings ars beautifil. every thing is balanced. If you are in the market, P M me.
Earl, can you give me the code of the machined pad underneath the passenger side head?
