Any one using one of the oil cooler/thermostat units from CP or Keith Eckert on their boats. If so does it get the oil Temp up, because I just bought this unit and it does not look to promising in getting the temp up.

using the KE unit and it works as promised. gets the oil temp up to 220 and it stays right there at cruising speed....runs up a bit on WOT runs but then goes right back to 220

Good. Just looking at where the thermostat threads in it does not seem to block off the oil to the cooler when cold, just looks like it restricts the flow a little bit but not much. But it looks like it will block off the bypass when it does get to hot. Just want to make sure this is gonna work before I start deburring/polishing/powdercoating this damn thing..
    Thanks

Here's the flow diagram. I have one on my boat and it works great.
