Thanks for sharing the pictures. gotta love this old stuff
With the recent interest in the long deck Mandellas on the board, I got my dad to scan a few of his slides from one of the Parker 9 hour enduros. Hopefully he can round up some more, I know he used to shoot a bunch, but these are at least a teaser. Note the difference in this boat and the photos that someone posted from Miami.
Where's Waldo? Not super sharp, but guess some of you guys may recognize some of the racers in line to sign in.

Note the Lake Elsinore 500 jacket,, and the fuel drums on the rack on the truck, the way the boats were refilled in the water back then.

Cooollll, boat number #13 in the 1970 entry is my Nordskog! Thanks for sharing Jerry.
i like the fact that there was a last place prize from Bell helmets!!
Those are some killer pictures! too bad racing isnt like it used to be.
Ross this is your job! The racing can be the same! We will never have the same amount of venues, but the important part is boat count and that is totally within our control! So come on, lets get those boats out and use them.
That's cool.....I read through the list and one of the entrants was a Hallett belonging to some friends from Phoenix. I met them a few years ago back when I was in Indycar racing.
Didja notice how many boats had 427 Fords in 'em? What happened to all those old FE's???
