I'm getting the Lightning headers next week and am looking forward to finally getting this tuned just right.
They are installing an O2 sensor hole for me. The O2 sensor will be able to analyze dry exhaust, prior to water being introduced. My buddy has the air/fuel analyzer, but can someone tell me the optimum ratio? And is it the same through the whole rpm range?

A/F ratio is what I've spent the most time tuning on with my EFI setup.
I have the gauge on all the time and can monitor and fine tune it on the fly.
It's a real nice way to have it.
At a cruise speed when the engine is at a light load and under vaccuum you want to be at 14.5:1 (stoichiometric) and have the ignition advance up over 40 degrees. The engine will run real efficient there.
When the engine is at max load (WOT) the A/F mixture will want to be at 12:1 Any richer than that will subtract HP. Some engines will be tuned to run richer than 12:1 to get some cooling from the over rich mixture but that's to compensate for high heat in the air coming in (Roots blowers).
