TALMEY EL'AZAR, Israel -- An Israeli health spa has introduced a creepy, crawly new treatment -- snake massage.
During the treatment at a spa in northern Israel, clients lie down on a massage table while six non-venomous snakes crawl over their back and body.
While the snakes slither around, a human masseur applies more traditional massage therapy.
Ada Barak, who owns the spa, said the touch of snakes helps soothe joints and has therapeutic effects.
Barak uses California and Florida king snakes, corn snakes and milk snakes for her treatments.
A massage with the snakes and the masseur costs about $70.
