Father killed family for being too western

A father killed his wife and four daughters in their sleep because he could not bear them adopting a more westernised lifestyle, an inquest heard yesterday.
Mohammed Riaz, 49, found it abhorrent that his eldest daughter wanted to be a fashion designer, and that she and her sisters were likely to reject the Muslim tradition of arranged marriages.
On Hallowe'en last year he sprayed petrol throughout their terraced home in Accrington, Lancs, and set it alight.
Caneze Riaz, 39, woke and tried to protect her three-year-old child, Hannah, who was sleeping with her, but was overcome by fumes. Her other daughters, Sayrah, 16, Sophia, 13, and Alisha, 10, died elsewhere in the house.
Riaz, who had spent the evening drinking, set himself on fire and died two days later.

Relatives broke the news to the couple's son, Adam, 17, as he lay terminally ill with cancer at the Christie Hospital, Manchester. He died six weeks later.
Michael Singleton, the coroner, recorded verdicts that Riaz killed himself and that his victims were unlawfully killed.
Riaz, who had spent all but the last 17 years of his life in the North West Frontier region of Pakistan, met his Anglo-Pakistani wife when her father sent her to the sub-continent to find a husband.
After an arranged marriage, she developed a career as a community leader in Accrington while he, handicapped by a lack of English, took on a series of low-paid jobs.
After Mrs Riaz's father died she "suddenly felt less beholden to Mohammed", a friend said. "She started to develop her own circle of friends and allowed the girls to express themselves in a more western way."
She began to work with women who felt suppressed by Asian culture and many saw her as a role model for young Asian women.

Details of an outrageous sex scandal have recently surfaced in Israel. A 14-year-old girl was sodomized by her own family members and other people. Her own brother forced her to perform oral sex on him when the girl was only five. Child molesters maliciously humiliated the little girl for eight years.
A flat owner raped the child twice when the girl was eight years old. Her father was sending the girl to a man, who used to own the flat in which the family was living, every month. Prosecutors say that the man raped the girl during her first visit to his home. The incident repeated a month later. Afterwards, the man spotted the girl on her way to school, made her get into his car and raped her again.
The girls father started molesting his own child when she turned ten. The man started raping the child on a regular basis, several times a week for four years. The indictment presented at a court of Tel Aviv contained a description of acts of sexual abuse taking place in the family. The document particularly says that the caring father asked his daughter to smoke marijuana to subdue her senses before committing sex crimes against her. The girls mother was suspecting her husband of criminal activities, but the woman took no actions to save her daughter from continuous traumas.
Several months ago the girls younger brother saw several photographs of his sister practicing oral sex with their father. When the older brother saw the explicit pictures, he demanded the girl should prove her virginity and subsequently raped her too under the guise of a medical inspection.
The girls father was arrested after she filed a police report against him. Her elder brother demanded his sister should publicly deny sex crime accusations against him. The young man even addressed to one of his male friends to tell the police that they were a gay couple.
The girls father, her brother and the previous owner of their flat have been charged with sexual abuse and sodomy. It became known later that the two men pleaded guilty to charges of sex molestation. However, flat owner denied all accusations and claimed that the girl had never visited his home. Nevertheless, the girls description of the mans flat, its interior and even the contents of his pornographic videos coincided with facts.
I didn't see where the religion of those bastards was mentioned. Quite frankly, I seriously doubt they were actually Jewish. More like Muslims living in Israel...If they were Jews I'm sure it would've been mentioned, but it wouldn't be PC to mention Muslims. They are scum of the earth regardless of their religion or where it happened..........MP
