    i know someone who collects all kinds of wierd stuff, including pez despensers and spends all kinds of $$$ on the crap.
    never got into collecting anything myself.

    Must have been a rookie. Should have saved the lisitng fee and started it at .99
    But I'm sure he knew it would go off. But even listing it for 9.99 is better then an even 10.00 because that's the cut off point for the lowest listing fee.
    I just read a book called "E Bay Millionaires". Pretty much they all start them very low (like .01 ~ .99) and let the market bid them up. If something is worth 40K then it will get bid up there. They did studies that show auctions with a low starting bid do better then the ones with a starting bid of lets say, the lowest you want to get for it.
    I'll tell you how it works out for me as I have some .99 auctions going right now. Hope I don't loose my ass. lol

    the buyers last purchase was mary kay make up remover for $6.50. that's quite a jump to $11k for a piece of plastic.I wonder if this deal is going to go through.
