Thread: 6 1/2" Speakers Choices...

Well after getting in touch with Holly over at Xtreme Audio Covers, I now have to change direction on my original speaker choice.
I was originally going with the Transonic Pierced speakers because of their clean look, but now I'm going with Holly's billet speaker grills instead.
I know I'm doing this backwards but like alot of things the look is first priority, and the speaker itself is secondary.
So I now need to figure out what 6 1/2"s to use, that will fit the billet grills.
    Any ideas?

I HIGHLY recommend FoCal polyglass speakers.
It is the only speaker I buy now, they sound great!

    Yeah...and there a real bargain
In all fairness the Focal K2's I put in my 03 Silverado had the bst sound quality and mid bass I have ever heard out of a 6.5" speaker. Problem is there really pricey and they don't hold up for crap in harsh enviroments.(Boat)
Water got down my door and they were trashed within 6 months.
Go listen to MB Quarts,Diamonds,Boston Pro and Eclipse

JUST put these in the new golfcart. For cheap speakers they sound pretty incredible. They arent anywhere as good as the K2 seperates..... but WAY less money! Cant go wrong with Fo-Cal

Magic 34....congrats on the new boat! I loved the old one but I know how much (we) women enjoy luxury!! Good for your wife!
Thanks for helping with the speaker choice everyone. I know everyone has their personal preference and Steve is getting the "Whipple" grills for his boat. I want everything to look perfect and this seems like a good choice for him.
Everyone take care and Happy Happy Easter.
